CUSTOMER CARE
Lovejoy Custom Coating is a cerakote service providing long lasting and durable finishes to products ranging from weapons, knives, and magazines to sunglasses and yeti tumblers!
Due to the nature of cerakote applications, payment will be required before your product is returned and all sales are final. Of course, we like our customers happy! If you have any issues with your order please feel free to contact us.
PRIVACY & SAFETY
Lovejoy Custom Coating stores customer order details, such as: product(s) being cerakoted, serial number of all weapon related items (if applicable), date of drop-off/pick-up, and method of payment.
We accept cash payments as well as all major credit/debit cards. We use "Square" to process all credit/debit transactions. Square conducts live risk monitoring on every transaction and encrypts card information the moment your card is swiped!
PAYMENT METHODS
Offline Payments: Cash Only - We do not accept checks.
All major credit cards: Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and American Express
ALL FIREARM SALES MUST BE PAID FOR WITH CASH! WE WILL NOT ACCEPT CREDIT CARDS AS A METHOD OF PAYMENT FOR FIREARM SALES.
CERAKOTE POLICIES
Due to special ordering cerakote colors for customers who were "no call, no shows" on their orders, we will no longer order your cerakote colors prior to receiving your items. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, however it creates a financial expense to us as cerakote does have a shelf-life and these items cannot be returned.
If you would like to speed up the process of your order, we will special order the requested cerakote colors for your project prior to obtaining your items, however the customer making such a request shall make a payment covering all cerakote colors requested, including any tax or shipping charges which Lovejoy Custom Coating is subjected to. Up to 50% of this expense only will be returned to you once your project is fully completed and your invoice has been issued. Credit for this expense will be reflected on your invoice.
Customers who wish to have weapons cerakoted should be aware of the following:

Most, if not all, weapon manufactures will discontinue the warranty of any weapon which you have modified or cerakoted.

Most, if not all, weapon manufacturers ADVISE AGAINST any modifications or coating applications, of any kind, to a weapon meant for self-defense carry/use.

Most cerakote applications require complete disassembly and reassembly of your weapon parts - including critical components of your firearm.

You should contact the manufacturer of your item(s) desired to be cerakoted to see if they are capable of being cerakoted and if any issues would possibly arise from your item(s) being cerakoted. Lovejoy Custom Coating does not do this prior to application due to the turnover time increasing for our applications and order fulfilment.

Your weapon has not been test fired upon project completion.

If your weapon slide (handguns/revolvers) or receiver (long guns) have been cerakoted - YOUR SIGHTS HAVE BEEN REMOVED DUE TO COATING. Therefore, your weapon's sights may no longer be accurate.

Lovejoy Custom Coating has not been able to confirm your weapon will function as it should.

YOU SHOULD TEST FIRE YOUR WEAPON(S) BEFORE CARRYING OR STORING FOR SELF-DEFENSE PURPOSES!

YOU AGREE TO COLLECT YOUR WEAPON(S), OR WEAPON(S) PART(S), PRIOR TO TEST FIRING - THEREFORE FULLY RELEASING LOVEJOY CUSTOM COATING, AND/OR ANY OF ITS EMPLOYEES, FROM ANY AND ALL LIABILITY WHICH MAY RESULT FROM MALFUNCTIONS AS A RESULT OF ITS DISASSEMBLY, REASSEMBLY, CUSTOMIZATION, CERAKOTING, OR ANY OTHER TYPE OF GUNSMITHING, MODIFICATION, OR CUSTOMIZATION ACTIVITIES NOT LISTED ABOVE INCLUDING, BUT NOT LIMITED TO YOUR OWN USE, MISUSE, OR NEGLEGENCE WHICH CREATES THE RISK OF, OR SUBJECTS YOURSELF, OR OTHERS, TO SUSTAINING INJURY OR DEATH.

UPON COLLECTING YOUR ITEM(S)/WEAPON(S) FROM LOVEJOY CUSTOM COATING, OR ITS EMPLOYEES, YOU UNDERSTAND, AGREE TO, AND LEGALLY BIND YOURSELF TO THE ABOVE LISTED WARNINGS & AGREEMENT.
